Representatives of the Association of Innovative Medicines Manufacturers (APRaD) held a meeting with the State Expert Center of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine to discuss key issues related to the further development of HTA and the National Price Catalogue.
As a member of APRaD and a company working exclusively with innovative medicines, Sona Group sees these discussions as strategically important for the future of innovative therapies in Ukraine.
The main topics included:
- Transparency of the HTA process, including the involvement of company representatives and greater clarity around the role and criteria of the Expert Committee
- The National Price Catalogue, particularly application review timelines and the optimization of approaches to price change verification
- Strategic policy priorities, including the need to preserve incentives for innovative companies and to advance outcome-based approaches and patient registries as tools for assessing the value of innovation
For the industry, these discussions are not only procedural. They are directly linked to the long-term predictability of the market and to patients’ access to new treatment options.
